My experience with several Feser fluids :
Feser UV Acid Green + Apogee GTX (used several months) : blocks were absolutely clean.
Changed the GTX for the GTZ 4 weeks ago, still using UV Acid Green : no problems so far (apart from the irritating noise from the GTZ)
Feser UV Yellow + DTek Fuzion v1 : clean (used it a couple of months)
Feser UV Red + DTek Fuzion v2 : blocks are clean after 6 months usage.
Just installed the WC 3.0 CU and using Feser UV Blue now : we'll see how it turns out.

Almost 100% of the time leaks are caused by incompetence, laziness, or brain-farts, ESPECIALLY once the components have already been tested once to be leak free (which any competent person, non-lazy person would do before they put it anywhere near live components).
That said, I've had my fair share of leaks caused primarily by laziness, but I had a few doozies back in the day. My most recent was a slow leak under a fitting that was dripping down on the back of my top GTX 260 causing intermittent lock-ups while gaming. I couldn't see or feel the water because I had the shroud on the back of the card and the water was dripping right through to the PCB.
I eventually figured out (a couple DAYS later) what was going on and the card is still running to this day.

I'm a happy UV tube/distilled user myself. I never have had one of these significant sedimentation types of occurrences when I was using UV dye, but regardless...I just don't find the need anymore with UV tubing. I've read through similar occurrences every now and then on a wide array of different UV dyes. It's not made up...it's obviously a real problem, but it's not consistent at all. I think it's got to be some sort of chemical or heat related reaction. Maybe some chemical coming off the tubing itself, or something.
I'm not sure, I just gave up on UV dye. I used to run hydrx and various Pentosin's etc. They all faded out on me in a few months. I'm now running straight distilled and UV tubing and my loop has been perfectly clean for 8 monts now without changing. I've got a clear view in my flow meters and it's sparkling clean.
I think UV dyes can work, but they do require much more frequent maintenance....too much for me...I'm lazy..![]()
And that is all that is being said, it CAN happen, and it CAN happen to where you don't notice it for a while. The chance does exist.
Of course there are steps that can be taken to reduce that chance. That is why you leak test your system, use hose clamps (or compression fittings) and periodically check fittings for looseness, but even doing all that, happens

Have we ever met in person because it seems you know me so well . . .
I had two major leaks caused by Thermaltake acrylic block tops just cracking out of nowhere after at least six months of running (so NOT overtightened). In Hellmouth I had TWO pumps in series loose power due to a faulty power hub (before I started using Bitspower stuff) which ran my GPUS (cpu on phase) so the GPUS heated up the loop causing the tubes to pop off . . .not easy to do when you have 3/8" tubes on 1/2 fittings mind you . . . .coolant ALL over the place including in my PSU . . . .
Then there was the time I was testing blood red fluid in Autopsy . . . had the fillport in the mouth (before I moved it to the neck). Well, I have three pumps in series in that build . . . .filled but forgot to plug the filltube . . .ran it . . .blood red all over my wall . . .

I have Feser liquid in my loop as well so I decided to write Feser to get an explanation and their point of view.

I have been using your cooling fluids for over a year now and haven't experienced any REAL problems - besides som slight algae growth in my resevoir. This was after a year of running in a closed loop/system.
I used the black version.
Anyway, I just read this at Extreme Systems forum:

And thought you guys would like to comment?

I would have taken a screenshot of the message but I don't know how to?

Absolutely it can happen.
Personally I have measures in place (like my system being 100% internal so leaks would pool on the floor of my case) that would prevent it from being a pet hazard because I'm a lazy SOB about my builds and I invariably forget at least one thing (ie the front panel connectors, the EPS 8-pin, or tightening that last barb that I put on) but I stand by what I said.
A CAREFULLY, METHODICALLY, SLOWLY build water cooling loop will not leak.

Haha. That reminds me of one time I was draining my loop. I had the T-line fastened way up in the top of the case zip tied to the non windowed side of the 5.25 bays. I had that panel off and I was taking the tubing off the pump so that I could blow all the liquid out (you may laugh, but this is by far the easiest way I've found of draining a loop).
So I took out the pump. Put one end into the sink and blew into the other end. It was like 'ol faithful. It's a good thing I run distilled, but that roll of TP was never quite right again.

Sniipe have you had dealings, as in troubles, with Feser before or is she making things up?
I mean an answer like that from a respected and fairly large company like Feser is just plain strange.![]()

Now this has been entertaining.![]()
They get blasted for all kinds of stuff. I'm not saying I agree with all (or any) of it, but this community has as many Feser H8ERs as lovers...
I see. I have only heard good things though - as of now that is.
But still customer service like the answer I recieved is inexplainable from an international company of any kind - be it good or bad.
