Quantum Monte Carlo, is a project based at The University of Münster, Germany. I have quoted a post from the head honcho, Stefan Grimme (akgrimme) on the QMC forum (original thread here), on the subject of how Quantum Chemistry can be applied to current & future scientific processes... ...
We went past Anandtech again with the last updates. There are some new threats, but let's just enjoy this for now. http://stats.free-dc.org/new/allteams.php?proj=qmc Gratz mates! :toast::party: My local friend BulldogPO has given us great help. Just wishing it was always that easy to...
:( SETI.USA have just overtaken us. Anybody feel like putting up a fight or shall we just leave this on the backburner. Im hoping to hit 1mil and then maybe move on somewhere else, but I noticed that Helheim has ramped up production:clap: to around 6k a day at the moment. So any takers ?
Nice pass, mtzki! :toast: Enjoy the view. ;) -SS

As ANOTHER number 1 is coming up for XS pretty soon :woot: I think we need to discuss tactics on what sort of buffer we want. The 30million on Dimes was perfect as we still have that lead even now. I was going to suggest between 500k and 750k maybe on QMC, what do you all think to that ? We can...
My production has been crippled by a these wu's and I just aborted around 1000 hours of crunching time due to them. Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with em? It didnt crunch like a normal wu, and would pop in and out of the processes using about 1 sec in 10 with idle...

Is QMC set up like Rosetta? Does it run without hitches as most of the time my machines don't get touched for a week or so? Am I wasting my time with Intels on it? I'm going to keep most power on SOB since I like the fact it never gives me any problems but would like to contribute somewhere...
Looks QMC has been down since sometime yesterday. I have 14 wu's to report and no work left. Maybe the Planet 3DNow team crashed them with all the results they've been returning. :ROTF:
Not far off now guys, well within a million, great work so far :bows: I'm also quite proud of the fact that our team constitutes 20% of the top 50 users, out of >12,000 registered users!
Surprised no one else made a "Wahoo!" post. We passed FreeDC to take the #2 position worldwide.
Stumbled on this today. My german is very pooor but it is still possible to figure out what is being said. maybe I am wrong? :) Same stuff again? Same people, same lies, blatant insult, project managemnt posting and ignoring as if nothing has happened. Not that is any of my concern. I...
Figure to get this forum started Any XSTM members that want to run QMC@home and haven't heard from me on the subject, pm me and I'll get back to you ASAP :D CHANGE OF PLAN (WE'RE GOING TO WCG :D) Get back to me anyway :D Thanks: :toast: Mad:nuts:MikeE for XS_THE_MACHINE
Borked windows on my X2 3800 yesterday and had to format, so now it has a new id. This is one of my Resevoir Dog rigs with over 20,000 points. I had about 30 wu's in que also. Is there a way to merge with the old one? How do I get rid of the old wu's from the results? Or should I just run the WCG...
