Giannis86: I'm also digging those Pi-Thom compression fittings. I'm trying to figure what size I'd need - taking into account the barb flange and how it expands the hose OD. Maybe Tile knows; Tile, if you're there - which parts would I need for 3/4"OD hose? would it be 1A-07 or 1A-08? Cheers.

i checked yesterday on their site on how to measure it. Just put the hose on the barb and measure the biggest diameter. Then look at which one you need. You can find a how to measure page via the home page. They also have a video instruction on how to apply the hose+pi-thom fittings on the barb
