OK. I assumed you're using Bloomfield while aiming for high RAM.
As I said to another user couple of post ago: "I think your main problem was trying to run UnCore @ 4GHz with too little voltage. Yes, 1.4 is usually too low for 4GHz UnCore. My Xeon W3540 needs 1.4125V for it."
When UCLK freq is set to Auto it will be lowest possible speed, in your case 4GHz, and it's hard to do without increasing VTT.
Be ready to go all the way up to 1.6-1.65V if you want to find out max RAM speed while using Bloomfield.
