ATI cannot make working video drivers

go to the nvidia boards and you will see just as many drver problems

If I had NVIDIA card and problems with their drivers I would go and post there like I already did before.

and the more poeple that report a driver problem the more likely to be fixed,so if you don't report it don't bit*h

I reported some of them to Terry Makedon personally via email before 10.4 was out. 10.4 fixed DXVA I complained about, but 10.5 and later broke it again, at least for me. Other OpenGL, game, and 2D related issues I reported are still not fixed to the best of my knowledge. Do you still think submitting feedback will help?

What's wrong with not having any problems with an ATI's gfx card ?? is it against the law ?? does it offend you in some way ??

Well, in my opinion its my duty to report that I have no issues with ATI's products or drivers as mine are serving me well.

Does ATI pay you to do your "duty" or are you just another keyboard warrior?

The reason why threads like this one fill up with people defending ATI is simply because if no one did, anyone that visited this site and run across this thread would be under the impression that ATI is garbage based on a bunch of negative posts with no positive posts to counter them.

Going by your logic, you and the other "defenders" like you would throw me out of the supermarket if I complained that the clerk didn't ring my purchase correctly, because that never happened to you? That reasoning is flawed.

What you are really doing with your defense is suffocating the thread with the "information" which is useless for those of us who really have some issues -- you are pushing those issues under the carpet and net effect is pure mindless brand defense which in my dictionary translates to fanboy.

If I was looking to buy an ATI product and started doing my research and found threads full of negative posts with no positive posts, I would assume ATI was garbage so I believe people post positively to counter such negativity.

You are free to start another thread titled "ATI can make working video drivers" and post your positive experience there. People doing research will read both threads and decide, and those of us who have problems and who are not interested in your positive experience won't have to read through it and waste time arguing with you, not to mention that we will have more chance of getting the proper attention so that our problems get fixed.

If anything, I am glad that it works fine for you.
