nice emir!
looks like your almost ready to start a whole series ^-^ haha
Just need to do full cover MB blocks and you'll be good to go
are you using an HDRI or just the dome/global light

1st decent experience with rendering:
Used solidworks + photoview 360, took 1hr 49min to render.

Thanks dude, nope it's not flat, i'll take a render of the underside and show. Besides i'll change the design.
A universal mobo block that can be used with the thickest compression fittings.

I'm a decent modeler, but a novice renderer. These are modeled in Sketchup and rendered with Twilight (a derivative of Kerkythea). I'm using the plain default sky and sun settings for lighting and either MLT or BPT. Seems to work ok, IMO.
These are part of a larger project I'm working on so more to come...

emir: Those compression fittings look nice -any plans on adding a bump map to them?
pbmax: Great to see a new face in this thread. Awesome job with the modeling

Okay, that wooden surface is just creepy, thatīs how realistic it looks![]()
nothing too special, just a slot load drive. the exterior dimensions are correct but some of the the smaller details were eye-balled from photos...
sketchup - twilight - bpt
a compression fitting.
sketchup - twilight render - lower quality photon map
