Really nice job. Any information about the 5850 block? I know that there are only a few 5850 cards at the moment, but is there a chance to get the block for the 5850 in mid of october?

Will there be a delrin top as well? Or acryllic only? Or is that polycarbonate?

There will be all standard 4 versions and separate white acetal top.

Just to inform readers here, there are almost all tops and complete mounting mechanisms available in the webshop.

Great job eddy! Kind of interested to see the white tops. Been a few white builds as of late and would make a really neat addition.

Received a picture of our block today, expect them available Oct 8-12 depending on the air carrier. They'll run our usual $99.99. We will also have a block to fit the HD 5850 around Oct. 19th for the same price.

The fact the acrylic/stainless steel top covers the whole block would indicate that water flows over the vregs directly.

I think it is like there other blocks. That is a beauty plate. There is a piece of plexi under it that seals the block.

Exactly, it also reinforces the acrylic to prevent warping or cracking.

Ah cool I dig it then... whose going to be getting the 5850 first? I got a card on the way and I don't want to be on air for too long (it feels so snobby to write that and yet, I don't care)

    Nice heatsink gabe!!!!

Lucky for us that you are on the heatsinks field!

Im sure that i will buy some of those!!

i already have the g200 heatsink and its really great!

Gpu only + heatsink is the best way to go for me, not so nice as full cover blocks, but more cheap and reusable!

Mcw60-r is a really great gpu block!

I would love a SE edition to match my GTZ

Prepare for the lawsuit lol. I prefer the old one myself the "K" looked regal. Full blocks do it for me once you go full you can't go back

We will see, acturally waiting to see how the waterblocks are rather than the card itself.

Gabe - I tried my MCW60 on my 5870 last week, and found it made v.poor contact with the GPU. I fiddled around with it a bit, but it would only contact one small part of the GPU. Not sure if the GPU is a mm lower vs. the shim or something, or do we need a new mounting bracket for this card? BTW... glad you are doing a full heatsink solution for this card, hopefully it doesnt take too long to land over here in the UK!
