    Thanks, Prada and ColonelCain.

And, Dear Nils ... you are my conscience Not gonna let me outta here without some decent photos, are you? It was not possible to make another try today. We returned home late from a long weekend away. I have added lighting to the GPU side of the case, and have everything buttoned up, but no energy to move the computer, as it is not possible to get full shots when it is on the desk.

    I promise ... I will try.

    Shazza,
It is not Nil's fault, it is ALL yours for getting us so addicted to those beautiful pictures that you take. And put on top of that the exquisite build that you did and there is no one to blame but yourself.

    More pictures, please.

Hah ... why blame myself, when it's so much fun to blame the man who whispers ... "details, details, it's all in the details..."

So, I guess you'll all just have to settle for a shot from the weekend journey to Sedona. The mystical, magical place where the vortex makes you one with the earth ... where the restaurants serve food with more rosemary, sage, and thyme than a Simon & Garfunkel reunion ... needless to say, we are happy to be home!

Yep ... Nils' photo had me thinking that direction. How do you think the outside would look with some nice fur on it (synthetic, of course!).

LOL ... I am really NOT that much into polar bears, but I love the look of the white sleeving pic Herr dualbrain posted.

I have plans ... plans for something new. But first, I have to enjoy my wild RGB build. Fortunately, all is working like a charm, and I'm not plagued by hardware problems. For those contemplating an i7 build - Go For it! It's a nice platform.

You may be onto something Shazza!

Perhaps its time for something a little unconventional.

I'm having a hard time envisioning fur working but that's given me another idear!

    Hi Shazza,

I was thinking of buying a mountain mods case with a horizontal motherboard tray like yours.

There is just one thing bothering me. If you use the Psu slot below the MB tray, then the second PSU slot at the right of the MB tray is left empty.

Is yours left empty, or do you use some sort of cover?

Is leaving it empty causes any dust problem?

    Thanks in advance.

Great build , nice photography skills

Aivc ... Mountain Mods ships a small plastic cover with the case that screws on, so dust isn't an issue. ( I lost mine - twice actually, so have another one on order )

Thanks for the kind words. It's a very easy case to work with.

why not seal up your case, and use florinet in the loops, and fill the case with mineral oil(finding a way for the fans to push air through the rads in a sealed case might prove to be hard :P)

No worries ... I can just imagine the grief I'd take from my better half.

BTW ... system has been running 24/7 for several days. Just about ready to try reactivating my "Boinc" account.
