I'm not sure. The drives are definitely defective except for the remaining WD velociraptor. Now the WD 400G is 3 years old but the 150 Velociraptor is only a few months old but what are the chances of both drives failing with the same
Code 0225 - too many errors found
. It's not even a question if they are defunct so now I'm going to switch the remaining drive over to another sata connection and check.
