F3 bios apparently sets 1-core and 2-core ratio limit of 21 for i920 and 23 for i940, ie allows turbo for 1 and 2 cores loads. While 3 and 4 core ratio limits are stock or 20 i920 and 22 i940. All F4betas have 1-4 core ratio limit all set at turbo mode 21 for i920 and 23 for i940. For that reason to be stable in F4 beta bioses, you have to turn turbo off or use significantly more vcore than what you need for stable in F3. It may also be necessary to adjust TDP override as well.

I wonder if enough of us email GB, would they make this option accessible to us.

the latest BETA BIOS has put that in
but i think that can't improve anything
actually its via turbo boost, after fix mulitiplier
when disable turbo boost then that beta BIOS can go out.
but the function of change multi is not like AMD's processor.

try raise uncore to higher step, in your case 21x or 22x
i have one i7 can work 4.6GHz UCLK.
if not stable, then try higher QPI/VTT voltage

    i got a nice chip/board too

4422MHz NB Frequency stable for 32M SuperPi

but i do have a problem with this board/IMC with high MHz RAM frequency
i just cannot bench past 2100 with these sticks which did 2300+ CAS8 on asus board (charles' bench) same ram

Latency reported is kinda low as well...was expecting low 20s
    hicookie any changes on that?!?!?!

Didn't test it yet. Personally I didn't even think it was going to allow me to launch CPU-Z but it ran all tests as posted above. I'm still on air so I don't plan to push the temps at that voltage.

edit: Added temp log from Everest.

I just put together my rig. The keyboard didnt work after the BIOS screen.

Then I just switched to 4-pin connector and it worked fine? Is 4 Pin enough for i7 920?
