As expected the EVGA GTX280 1GB GDDR3 performed very well in all the games and benchmarks tested , using 1680x1050 & 1920x1200 resolutions , with High Settings and filters (AA & AF) !
( exception of course for Crysis using that resolutions with Very High Settings & Filters @ AA & AF ! )

To sum things up, what can i say from Evga Latest High End Card?

Well , the performance is excelent , the card has a lot of features and a very good quality of all the components !
personally i think there is no doubt that GTX280 is really the best & fastest Single GPU card on the market !

» The Best/fastest Single GPU on the market «
» Quality of all the components «
    » Very Good Performance «
» Cooler (not too noisy and efficient ) «
    » 1024MB GDDR3 & 512Bits Bus «
    » Geforce PhysX support «
    » SLI & Tri-SLi support «
    » Hybrid Power supported «
    » CUDA «
    » EVGA 90-Day Step Up Program «

    » No HDMI/Adapter «
    » A little expensive ? «

Special thanks to EVGA USA & Europe for the Sample !

    Regards!

    Message from EVGA :

if you buy the card in North America, you will receive the HDMI + SPDIF adapter now, at the beginning of launch, the correct adapters were not available, if you bought it before we offered the connectors, contact our CSTeam and we will send it out.

Also Europe should be shipping with them soon.

Well , i think there is no doubt EVGA Hydro Copper 16 Waterblock performs really well !

Even using the waterblock in the same loop as the CPU and NB , and using only a 360mm radiator , the GPU temps are around 30º Lower in full load compared with Stockcooler ! ( even with GTX280 Overclocked @ 690Mhz )

Also after installed the EVGA Hydro Copper 16 waterblock in the same loop as the CPU and NB , the temps are pretty much the same as before (CPU Core 1 through 4 all went up 1C and the NB had no change at all )

Special thanks to user Taloman for the EVGA Hydro Copper 16 waterblock tests !

    Best regards

good job again Mascaras... how high can you push your shaders mate, mine topped out at 1480ish level, before I got artifacts, ram at 1250mhz and GPU at 745 no prob... just the shaders didn't quite like it here... sold the card and will grab one GTX260 for fun and might do a step up later on or sell it again...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

    Nice review

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you buy the card in North America, you will receive the HDMI + SPDIF adapter now, at the beginning of launch, the correct adapters were not available, if you bought it before we offered the connectors, contact our CSTeam and we will send it out.

Also Europe should be shipping with them soon.

with watercooling the Overclock limit are not the Temps anymore , but the voltage (vGPU) !

with stock voltage and watercooling , no problem benching 735/740Mhz on GPU !
