both 260 and 4870 r good cards, but i think 4870 has the edge, in many instances, and still is the overall winner bang for buck. i would need to see price parity for 260 and 4870 and even then, 4870 is too tempting. it seemed to me that 4870 came out on top in more cases and handles 8xAA/high res very well too.

it's a hard choice to make; both good cards. game specific drivers can make all the difference. it's easy to sit on the fence here.
