As far as the NB voltage goes, when do you think I will be getting in the danger zone. I have read that a NB starts to get flakey and could possibly be damaged when the temp goes over 45c, tho I am not sure if that is true or not. I have the NB on its own loop and it gets cooled as good as you can with water. I am worried about getting too high with the voltage. Any suggestions on where I should stop if I have to keep turning it up? I am guessing 1.6 maybe 1.7. I would think any higher may damage the board, but in all honesty I dont really know.
I am not a OC'ing guru by any means. I understand the basics and usually stay in the mild to average zone when OC'ing. There is alot I still dont understand. Memory has always been my biggest downfall when it comes to all the different settings. I envy you guys who can just go into memory and start changing things properly. It confuses me to no end. I know that the biggest problem I have now is the memory settings and I feel that is what is stopping me from raising this FSB and memory ratio. I know just raising the NB voltage isnt the only thing I need to do.
I have attached the current CPUz readout for you to see. What is confusing me is the sticker on the memory says 7-7-7@1.9V, yet CPUz says 1.5V. Right now I have no choice but to believe CPUz because it will not post if I raise the DRAM voltage to any setting above 1.686V. It just beeps for about 10 or 15 sec and then recovers the bios so it will post again. Can you please push me in the right direction?
