    Black-ops aftermarket top interest check

I'd like to get a show of hands from those who would be interested in a copper/acrylic/black delrin replacement Black-ops top. I talked to Quoc at Petra's and he said that he'd be interested in stocking some, so I am trying to figure out how many I should make...

    Thanks guys!

    I would be.

Just incase anyone didn't know, if you own or were thinking of getting a Blackops or Dreadnought, the NB top is anodized aluminum, they cheeped out in the last second, which is why this is a great idea.

Just ordered my Blackops, should be here Monday or Tuesday. I would love an Acrylic to match my Acrylic EK Supreme. Put me down for one.

I would love to use acrylic one as well. But please note that is should be similar to aluminum retail cover in design, not to existing copper or acrylic ones ... the wrong ones are on this picture:

They have changed the design of WB in retail version, aluminum cover is more effective ... .

I have put the retail Top in the hands of IANDH before even getting this going, so rest assured it will be a close
    repoduction of the retail version.

On mine i also want to LED holes for my UV led's

    regards

Great, Steve! I want those holes as well
It makes no sense to use acrylic version without them, IMO, it is better to use a delrin cover without those LEDs.

Put me down for a Delrin and a Copper top as well. Also Tony from OCZ has said that the Koolance fittings dont work with the stock 1 because of the o-ring and the counterboar. Any chance of changing that so they would work?

I'll be eliminating the counterbore... it is pretty much useless with most of today's popular barbs.

So far it looks like I will be doing acrylic and delrin for sure, and probably copper. The acrylic versions will have LED holes.

Once the Dreadnought is released in retail, you should see a few more people interested in this I would think. I'm definitely interested.

I would purchase one if it were made of copper or delrin.

My one concern is the placement of he 2 UV led holes, i think it ould look corny on top
Is there a way to make the top a little thicker and put the LeD holes in the side.
Or if you have any idea;s that is great tooooooooooooo

    I am excited.

There is my attempt (gotta love your own CNC machine)

I dunno what to charge for them? the delrin is pretty pricey but you get loads out of a sheet.
