so lapped both cooler & cpu, iddle went down to 37-31-31-25-25 and full load not much difference, around 62-59-59-54-54. good thing is now i can get the push-pull 120mm fans on low setting, meaning an almost silence system.

I replaced the original LL fans throughout my case with Scythe Flex units. It's just a hair noisier but case and hdd temps dropped 2-3 C. Believe it or not, the noisiest component in my system is the Corsair ram cooler. Occasionally it makes a high-pitched that grates on my ears. I may replace it with the OCZ cooler.

I'm still deciding what BIOS to use (I posted a poll on this). Seems like 0903 is going back and forth as far as being all that stable. I think I may go with 0802.
