I killed my 2 Patriot PDC22G8000+XBLK sticks on this board running them 24/7 at 2.27v! Those were some really nice sticks as they were able to run 1080 4/4/4/12 on my previous last 4 or 5 boards with no problems. For now, I have ripped out the DFI and have been testing the new Gigabyte X38-DQ6. Using Ballistix Tracers 8500's now as well. So far I am liking the Gigabyte over the DFI. Less prone to the dreaded C1 post's for sure. More testing is needed though. Wonder if DFI is having a voltage problem with the DIMM slots on this board? I know the LanParty NF4 boards were prone to blowing out memory. Could it be a similar problem were seeing?
