that's why I run my 24/7 systems with low vdimm.. Around 2.1-2.2v
I killed my 2 Patriot PDC22G8000+XBLK sticks on this board running them 24/7 at 2.27v! Those were some really nice sticks as they were able to run 1080 4/4/4/12 on my previous last 4 or 5 boards with no problems. For now, I have ripped out the DFI and have been testing the new Gigabyte X38-DQ6. Using Ballistix Tracers 8500's now as well. So far I am liking the Gigabyte over the DFI. Less prone to the dreaded C1 post's for sure. More testing is needed though. Wonder if DFI is having a voltage problem with the DIMM slots on this board? I know the LanParty NF4 boards were prone to blowing out memory. Could it be a similar problem were seeing?
Anybody "Brave" Enough to try this New Beta Bios out?

even at default speeds etc...sometimes while trying to boot it wont see my hd's properly...

No problems here 4x74 Raptors.
There is no ram voltage issue to date. Monitoring with a scope the DIMM voltage is almost dead-on as to what the BIOS reports. If voltage is kept at an acceptable level and drive strengths are kept in check memory will last just as long in this board as any other. I don't believe any of us who have consistently pushed this board to the max has lost any ram.
@John.......do you think Oskar may have made some other tweaks to Beta Bios in addition to Micro Code Update?

my problem happens when I reboot...
2 X 150 Raptors Raid 0
while it is still in the boot up stage (DOS)
it will hang for a few seconds and it will only see 1 drive...then I reboot and it will see both but not in the right order...then after a 3rd reboot it sees my drives right...
like I said this is even at all defaults...

Strange.
I used the ICH9R ports not the J Micron. I selected that driver from the disk.
It was just like any other "F6" RAID install on XP.

Last I heard it was micro-code update only.
In the first week with this board, it kill me one stick of my Team PC8500 @ 2,4v (voltage recomended by Team for PC 8500).
Now i have another kit running for 3 weeks at the same voltage and no problems.
Yes, Strap 1066 works.

But Strap 266/1066 works fine, my mems didn't like it, gave me errors @ DDR 1270, i have to run 266/800 for 3800 mhz.
@MJRL ......what version of the Thermalright did you use?I've put this on mine, Thermalright HR-09 U
Its with 3M thermal pad, i have a drop about 7 to 8º in pwm.
