It's actually easy. I tip the system on its face and attach a fitting with a long hose to the fillport. Then I tip the machine back and drain or fill.

I'm still confused. I drew some stuff on your picture to further explain my confusion =D



So, you bleed it like this yes? Well then you're pouring liquid into the outlet of your pump. Can't see how this will fill properly without having the pump run dry for a small amount of time.
