Its a fine balance at first I was just cranking up more NB volts but wasnt getting the stability or temp control that I like so I decided to tackle the voltage noise from the NB back to the CPU where my cooling was stiffer that's where the FSBT came in to play sense the FSBT voltage is terminating at the CPU I was able to leverage the SS cooling and crank the FSBT up a bit with out danger. Still Im hoping to reduce the FSBT voltage down once I liquid cool my chipset on Monday. All in all this board is faster than my BlackPearl at lower overclocks.
Your right about SuperPi you dont get any bump at all from a quad...in fact its a drawback...
