On my Core2Ex I used Intel Burn Test as I have always found it pushed my CPU harder then P95 ever has and I got it to reflow first time, same with a 2500k using an Antec 920.

From what I can see you followed the instructions just fine, so there's nothing wrong with your method imo, sometimes you can get unlucky with this stuff (I have a friend with a a R3F, 920 and XSPC Rasa block and both times failed due to uneven screw downs).

How are you certain that reflow wasn't achieved?

What are your idle/load temps?

Sounds like there is thermal protection still turned on as mentioned above me.
