I think you really need to stablish what your stable overclock requires in terms of CPU Voltage.
Let's say, 1.35V or so.
The LLC has a lot to do with the offset voltage, the higher the LLC, the more the CPU voltage will be increased using the offset value.
I know my CPU requires about 1.4V to be stable @ 4.8ghz
With Medium LLC and an offset value of + .90 I get 1.4V during LinX testing. (+.110 for Prime95)
With Ultra High LLC, I need an offset of about .040 to get a load of 1.4.08 V.
What I don't understand is why Linx can request a higher CPU voltage using a lower offset value, while Prime95 will crash. I need to set the offset higher just for prime95.
So, +.040 for Linx, and +.055 for Prime95
CPU will idle @ 1600mhz using as little as 1.096v and during load it will go up to 1.4 v.
You really need to play with some values....
