@lowfat: no, it has no backlight. Would be much more expensive in this case. I think with 14.90 EUR it is very affordable.
@BlueAqua: expect for the overall user interface you won't see new things. We are also focusing on the current aquaero since it will take some time before we can say it has everything we and you want to have. Afterwards we will see what will be possible with the the older devices.
@avddreamr: at the moment we are using Open Hardware Monitor for the exchange of sensors values. The aquaero will also allow you to do crazy things like building an average value between a real sensor that is connected to the aquaero and a software sensor. This new value can be also used for another control and so on. The only limit is your imagination
@churchy: can't tell since we have not done this kind of testing so far to be able to say the difference is X. It is also hard to tell since the temperature plays an important role. Of course we will know more soon. As mentioned by you the remote control, touch buttons and heatsink are the only differences between XT and PRO. The PWM channels can be used for whatever you think of and most of that stuff does not come with a regular fan plug. As you can also see there is no space left for a 4-pin plug
The whole layout process of the PCB took a lot of time to get everything on board what we had in mind.
@Dr_Swizz: prices are in the text
@prznar1: if you take a look at the comparison table you will see that the LT is able to do everything like the XT and PRO except for a few specific functions that the LT can not provide because of the missing hardware like touch buttons, IR and the display. Everything else is the same.
