That's not the issue here.

There was some evidence suggesting a possible rename in case of AMD, but it was still deemed inappropriate to even talk about that, because it didn't happen yet.

But, the same people have no problem saying NV is going to rebrand without any shred of evidence or anyone at least hinting at it.
