    4.2GHz @ 1.3v
Since you have HT enabled, in IntelBurn's "Threads" section you need to select 12 cores for IntelBurn Test to test all cores - when left to auto it will only test your physical ones. You can see in Realtemp where you are only running a little over 50% load. It will increase your temps and put more strain on the cpu.

Testing max. bclck but I'm at the wall of 220bclck x21, stable with LinX. Tried multi 23 but can't get it stable at 205x23.(4cores HT off) Raised Vcore till 1.65 but it's a no go. Temps are below <80degrees.
    Using the GOOC 2010 bios.
    PCI-E =115

    Any suggestions?

    Will post the settings shortly.

With this setting i can boot and also run LinX (All 10 didn't try more) but what is strange for me and i don't realy understand is that i can't run prime95 large (maximum heat) for more than 2 Minutes !!! I always get a blue screen.
Same when i try to run a game like Battlefield Bad company 2.

Has someone an idea what i could try ??
Core Temps are all ok max. @ 65°C

Something wrong with my settings maybe ?

I think your VTT is a little low. For me to run 12 cores @ 23x200 LinX stable, the board defaulted to 1.435 and I wound up at 1.475~1.495VTT. What is the hex code on the BSOD?

    Yo guys,
I am having some strange reboot issues since about a week. Sometimes when I am on the desktop the system shuts down just by itself and reboots.
What is the reason for this behavior?
Should I rise up the vcore? Right now I put 1.256v on the cpu (idle 1.216v)

I am having some strange reboot issues since about a week. Sometimes when I am on the desktop the system shuts down just by itself and reboots.
What is the reason for this behavior?
Should I rise up the vcore? Right now I put 1.256v on the cpu (idle 1.216v)
How can you be sure it's not software related?

I can´t imagine what kind of software could cause a reboot

    Hey guys,

I posted about this before about 5 pages back, but I need to know if my board is f#$%ed.

I previously had a 5870 and an EVGA GTX 260 card that I was using as a dedicated PhysX card. I was saying before that I couldn't get the EVGA GTX 260 to detect in the bottom x16 PCI-express slot. I could only get it to work in the third slot.

Anyway, now I have sold the 5870 and have purchased an Asus DirectCU GTX 460 and I still want to run the EVGA GTX 260 as my dedicated PhysX card. I can't install the EVGA in the third slot next to the Asus card because of the cooler on the Asus card. Since I am now using 2 Nvidia cards I thought that I would try the EVGA GTX 260 in the bottom slot again, and yet again it still doesn't detect in that bottom slot.

Is that bottom slot on my Motherboard f$%^ed? The card seems to be getting power and the fan is spinning, but it's not being detected in Windows 7.

does any card work in the lower slot by itself?

Can you actually put a single card there in the bottom slot and run it like a primary card?

It seems that the card is getting power so I thought the slot is OK, unless the two 6 pin PCI-e connectors from the PSU are powering it.

Also, I see people upping the PCI-express frequency in the BIOS for overclocking. Would that do anything for this?

Could be. Did you notice anything else unusual maybe? What OS do you use?

I am using W 7 64 bit. There wasn´t anything unusual beside the reboot issue. The scan for malware or viruses was negative as well.
But in deed the reboot was when the os started initializing the drivers, icons and so on.
    What the hell is that?

So it happens on startup? Is everything fine while gaming? LinX?

BTW did you update any drivers lately?

Sometimes it happens when I start up or I am just on the desktop but never while I am gaming.
    I doesn´t happen under load.
All my drivers are up to date (ATi 10.9, NVidia 258.96, chipset drivers and xonar are the latest ones)

If it does not happen in safe mode, please test, then it's caused by some program at startup and you will need to use Msconfig to disable them one by one until you find the culprit.

    Yo guys!
Thank you very much for your help. I finally found the fault; it has been an old flash player version. From the time on I upgraded my flash player the shut down issue has gone.
