Hey guys,
I posted about this before about 5 pages back, but I need to know if my board is f#$%ed.
I previously had a 5870 and an EVGA GTX 260 card that I was using as a dedicated PhysX card. I was saying before that I couldn't get the EVGA GTX 260 to detect in the bottom x16 PCI-express slot. I could only get it to work in the third slot.
Anyway, now I have sold the 5870 and have purchased an Asus DirectCU GTX 460 and I still want to run the EVGA GTX 260 as my dedicated PhysX card. I can't install the EVGA in the third slot next to the Asus card because of the cooler on the Asus card. Since I am now using 2 Nvidia cards I thought that I would try the EVGA GTX 260 in the bottom slot again, and yet again it still doesn't detect in that bottom slot.
Is that bottom slot on my Motherboard f$%^ed? The card seems to be getting power and the fan is spinning, but it's not being detected in Windows 7.
