I agree completely. This bios 1.40 Has NO issues whatsoever.ASRock 890FX Deluxe3 received “Great Value Award” from PureOverclock!!
ASRock 890FX Deluxe3 is a cost effective AM3 motherboard. The layout and design is quit good, the performance is excellent and the quality is also well done.

Sorry but 290Ht and 1800Mhz max on 890FX is not good enough... ASrock needs to improve as it's almost the same price range as Asus' pro board. Maybe the reviewer needs some Chew* tips :p

880g 1.70 bios... 300 htt works now but running my 1600's at exactly 1600 (300*5.33) doesn't boot. 301*5.33 htt does boot, though 295-299 doesn't. and so 240*6.67=1600 doesn't boot either. (i think this may have been the case from the first bios but i didn't relate it to memory clocks, i was only thinking htt ref clock then). anyway i'm kinda forced to run 1333C6 it seems.

cool and quiet still seems to kick in with volts below 1.4v (?) so i still have to force steady multies with k10stat in windows. not really a problem but i was getting clock interrupt BSODs out of nowhere even at 3500 mhz.

I was thinking of getting the 890GX Extreme3, has anyone tried it with the 2.4 BIOS? I'd like to know max bus speed with that BIOS.
