Hmm, 74c shouldn't crash the system, in fact it is reasonable temperature when using this high overclocking and air cooling, with my old EX58-Extreme and c0 920 CPU I could reach 85c @ 3.8GHz when using prime95 and coolermaster V8, the system was rock stable.
