I am a bit weary of of what TMPIN1 actually is though. At my stable OC, TMPIN1 reads 77C after running prime for a few hours. If this temperature was accurate, my system would surly hang, no?

I just have the feeling that all the temps get a little wacky when a CPU is unlocked, at least that is the feeling I have on my own board.
Hi !

on my Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H i have (to my mind)

TMPIN0 is Northbride
TMPIN1 is Mosfets because i have more than 70° in full load
TMPIN2 is CPU.

When i lock my X2 550BE, TMPIN2 is the same as core temps. Wish this can help you
