It seems as if I am running into a bit of a wall with my unlocked 550.

let me start of by listing my stable OC thus far:
Gigabyte 790X UD4P

CPU 17x200= 3400mhz
Vcore=1.35V

CPU NB @ 2200mhz
CPU NB VID @ 1.2V

everything else at stock

to become stable at 3500mhz, I need to bump up my vcore to 1.40V. Unfortunately, 1.4V only gets me to 3500mhz, 3600 is unstable (even with CPU NB VID @ 1.3V)

I understand that 1.4 vcore is not a lot, but with only having a thermaltake silent boost on my 550 and not being able to read temps on my unlocked CPU, I'd rather not go beyond 1.4V. In fact, if I need only 1.35V at 3400MHZ, that is where I am going to leave it - I dont think 100mhz is worth increasing vcore my .05.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on how to go beyond 3400mhz? Unfortunately, I think I've hit my chip's limits with the voltages that I am willing to give it. I think I am going to have to call it quits at 3400mhz.

BTW, how much additional heat would you guys estimate is added when the two additional cores are unlocked? I suppose I might be able to extrapolate my unlocked temps by checking my temps when running just the two original cores.
