Quick question on cable management. On your renderings, you don't have a PSU inserted into the case, are the slots between the MOBO and reserviors large enough to accomodate sleeved cables. Do you expect enough room to feed power cables to the GPUs while also running tubing from the bottom radiator? Everything else I like, it's big but its a beauty.

Thanks for the compliments. There is plenty of room for cable management. There are slots on both sides of dividing sections. The ones nearest the motherboard would be used for the cables and the others used for the tubing.

Here's a couple of animations, so you can compare my case design with the SilverStone TJ07 and the Lian Li V2000....

    ePOWER EP-2000P10-T3 REVIEW at www.newegg.com

Pros: Powering my computer along with my air conditioner and my refrigerator, and I used it to jump start my truck once.

Cons: The only problem was the FBI at my door saying something about knocking out power for the east coast...not sure what thats about.

    Mick, some questions for you.

    1) How did you import the file from Sketchup to Kerkythea? what file type? I haven't played around with it too much yet...impatient LOL!!!
    2) I have similiar designs made out of Acrylic, although not quite as big and not enough room for rads on top. Im talking 24" x 24" (600mm x 600mm) designs. I would love to take a crack at making this masterpiece out of acrylic when I get the chance... if you will allow me to? This time around it won't contain acrylic rod or tube.

I have started my new venture into case building out of Acrylic, laser etching/engraving services, custom case fabrication. Eventually I hope to move into metal as well. Got to start somewhere!

You can find where I started here: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100586089

    and here: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100755309

    and finally here: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100738124

I am at a pause right now as my laser cutter is set to arrive in 30 days.

You have an awesome case design and excellent skills with sketch up and kerkythea...my hats off to you!

    Thank You,

    Kirk (Gone Cruising)

Fantastic build! You deserve every success in your new venture! Your SketchUp skills aren't bad either!

Thanks for the compliments! SketchUp models are actually exported from SketchUp into Kerkythea. There is a plug-in for SketchUp available on the Kerkythea website.

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions....

Thank you! and I will definitely be asking the questions!

So no case company is interested? Truly amazes me!!

Did you find out how much that prototype place will build it for? I would definitely donate some funds for you to get it made and perhaps some other folks as well. Imagine if everyone that viewed your masterpiece donated $20 to $30. Then once the design is finished and you have all the correct specs, you can find a shop to build it on demand...someone wants it, then they pay up front to have it built. Just a thought!

That's a good idea, but that will make buying one very expensive, because
the manufacturer does just set up a machine or laborer to pump out parts, assemble
etc. But at least it requires less overhead for mick.

Thanks Prada! It may be a little too big for Acrylic, maybe not, but in time I'll purchase the right metal working equipment and build them for Mick and I'll send him royalty checks for his design...

Wow. What a great way to spend a half hour in the middle of the night. I really like this case. I think the paint job could make this case work in steel - the two tone black and red would look great.

    Really nice.

Congratulations Mick64 on an outstanding case design
Don't give up on the idea of making this case a reality, if you keep knocking on door's it will happen.
I would buy either the blue case or the orange one.

Have you got a quote from Protocase to make it?. If you had a price, then maybe one of the more keen (rich) enthusiasts could make your dream a reality. I myself am considering a Lian Li P80 with 2 feser 480 rads off the right hand side, perhaps mounted like a mora-2, but an uncluttered all internal build like this would be ideal. !! not that i personally could afford to go much bigger than a P80. Basically everyone wants the versatility of the Mountain Mods cases, In a far more stylish tower enclosure. and you have that in spades!!

I wish that I could be posting something more than another render, but there hasn't been any further progress to report. So another render is all I can provide at the moment.

I've created a few more components in ScetchUp for this render. Here's what's installed......
