    my cpu has a vid 1.225

    thanks a lot!

    and one more thing i dont wish to add too much voltage to it like 1.4X v for its temp and also lifetime :P

    I have a brand new EP45-UD3R sitting right next to me.
    Had a new - still sealed E8400 sitting on the shelf that no one wanted to buy from me so I figured that I may as well just pick up a board to run it on.
    I'm going to try to put it all together tomorrow nite.

    also, i am putting a watercooling on the cpu but the temp is bad

    config :
    d-tek fuzion v2
    swiftech 360 radiator with 3 cooler master fan(the one that has blue led)
    swiftech ddc 18w
    gelid gc-2 thermal paste

    the temp is about 40 when idle (3.00ghz , default, 1.18v)
    50+ when load

    42~44 when idle(4.3ghz, 1.35v in bios)
    70~75 in ibt

    i thought the config isnt that bad?

    i have used the fuzion for 1 year but i have also opened it and found it is not dirty and nothing inside it is affecting the cooling

    so what would be the cause?

    the room temperature is about 28,29 i thought

    If your temps are getting that hot already use prime and not IBT.

    Where exactly did you get the DDR3 Value RAM or what is the model number so I can get some?

    i made sure the block is tight enough with its top, i also add plastic stick paper to the top and the block

    why would there be bubbles then?

    Anybody heard anything concerning release date of the EP45-UD5? I'm in the tinkering mood again.... That should be a fun toy.. Have any review samples surfaced? An SLI Modded bios for the UD5 could convince me to keep this platform for another year! Or even some decent crossfire would be nice.

    That isn't enough bubbles to be worried about. My system has been producing way more bubbles than that for over 6 months and i've never had a cooling issue. i doubt you'd even see 1 degree temp drop without those small air bubbles.

    3 cooler master fans

    a swiftech ddc 18w pump

    and a d-tek fuzion v2, should really be enough for a q9650 right?

    i want to get better cooling effect so that i can raise the vcore

    what thermal compound are you using? Never mind i see. Remember, it doesn't take much. Also you may have a warped IHS or water block. Have you considered lapping them? Just for reference.. I'm using a similar water cooling setup. At idle with 1.39v 4400mhz i'm at 40-41c. Prime Small FFT 65-66c to start then reaches 70c. I've been running this setup for almost a year (9 months) 24/7 with no problems. Last night i ran a 3dmark06 50 loop at 1920x1200 8x AA and 8x AF. Took all night but it completed with a score of 16056 and max temp of 69c with real temp. I've never been able to run IBT like some others here, just too much heat. What are your temps with Prime95 Small FFT?

    that doesnt matter anyway, the bubbles seems not to be the cause

    for now, my room temp should be 27~29

    i am running 1.35v in bios for 4.2ghz

    and running prime 95 too, 70~71 load for 4cores

    idle should be 40~42

    i measure the temp of the surrounding of the rad too

    it is 35~36

    so what i am thinking is, do the block have the ability to carry heat away?

    i know fuzion v2 is a good block, but i have been using it for 1 year anyway i opened it too, it is clean.

    i cant measure the temp of the coolant, so i measure the rad

    i assume the temp of the cooland is about 4x, is this normal? when my cpu is running 70~71

    i am thinking should i sell this fuzionv2 and get a ek extreme or extreme lt
