The internals are identical, regardless of what brackets are used.

The 775 versions will have a tiny, removable plastic plate in the inlet barb. It's supposed to split the flow to hit the two separate dies on a Core2 CPU. The 1366 versions will have this plastic plate in the box, but not inserted. Either way, it can be removed or added.
