In theory yes as you can play more with the ram speed (more headroom), though strain on the P45 NB is very high, so to get a stable setup with 4Gb with +550FSB is harder to setup then the DDR2 variant... with the ddr2 I can get easily above 600FSB Hyperpi stable, with the DDR3 580FSB is where it stops... will try the OCZ blades once I get my board back... Also my EP45T didn't like my micron based rams, but that could be purely my board...
