I have a theory, those Corsair are probably Samsung IC and RE donīt like Samsung at all, I have similary problem with my 2x2 Trencend, I having a hard time to get them to work with my Q9650 @ FSB 450, ram @ 1800MHz CAS 8 2N but with FSB 400, ram @ 1600MHz CAS 7 1N (even though they are dubble sided 1N seems to work) they seems to work alright.
I work with 1104 right know and I have not tried 1201 yet.
But try this setup and see if it works.
FSB Frequency: 400
CPU Ratio Setting: take your pick
CPU Clock Skew: Normal (or Delay 100ps)
NB Clock Skew: Normal
FSB Strap to North Bridge: 200
PCIE Frequency: 100
DRAM Frequency: 1600Mhz
DRAM Command Rate: 2N (can work with 1N also)
CAS# Latency:7
RAS# to CAS# Delay: 7
RAS# Pre Time: 7
RAS# ACT Time: 21
Rest of the timing is on auto
DRAM Static Read Control: disabled
DRAM Dynamic Write Control: disabled
DRAM Skew Control is all on auto
Ai Clock Twister: Strong (try moderate if strong doesnīt work)
Ai Transaction Booster: Manual
Common Performance Level: 5
All Pull-Ins are disabled
EPU II Phase Control: Auto
CPU Voltage: You know what to have for your chip
Load-Line Calibration: Enabled
CPU PLL Voltage: 1.50- 1.55
FSB Termination Voltage: 1.20 - 1.45
CPU GTLVerf (0): AUTO
CPU GTLVerf (1): -40
CPU GTLVerf (2): AUTO
CPU GTLVerf (3): -40
NB GTLVerf: +60 - +70
North Bridge Voltage: 1.40 - 1.45
DRAM Voltage: 1.70 - 1.80
NB DDRVref: AUTO
DDR3 ChannelA Vref: AUTO
DDR3 ChannelB Vref: AUTO
South Bridge 1.5 Voltage: 1.51
South Bridge 1.05 Voltage: 1.06
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled

I've tried both 333 and 400 strap, no luck..I have the ram at A2/B2..I've tried messing with skews but no luck again, CPU NB skews Delay 100 and CLK A2 advance 50, CLK B2 advance 25
...I'll install dominators tommorow and try
and not only this, but rock stable at 490fsb too, but with devider 5:8 because the chipset ran out of bandwith, and i couldnt get 1950mhz...
