But, at least it shows the highest Temp if you have multiples, so that's a help.

Also ... make sure you download Real Temp 3.0, it's possible 2.7 is giving you slightly lower readings due to how it reads Tjmax for the i7. Also, 3.0 will give you a temp from your GPU - very handy.

    Looking good!
Shazza, You were not kidding! RT 3.0 report temps 2-3C higher. That was a shock, but I am currently at 4.3 and very stable. I will PM you with all of the settings by Friday afternoon.

Those are still great temps. Tempted to get me one of those fancy 965s to compare it to my 920.

It's great to see that you are getting good temp control with the quad rad, especially since you've got the CPU and SLI GPUs on the same loop. Sounds very promising.

    Rocky,

Those are excellent temps with a single loop D5 system at that OC. I look forward to see what you push that beast to.

Is that a photo you snapped? What time of year is that? Typically, the only clear nights like that are in the end of november/first of december, otherwise the fog and smog are too thick for good photos. We screwed up and waited to go up to the peak on the clearest night.

I told the wife I am not going again unless a DSLR is in my hands.

Nice temps! And to think you have a your i7, SLI'd 285's and a chipset on that loop...those are some damn good temps!

Feser is a tough company to deal with, I have been promised the moon and nothing to show for it. Had to rely on a friendly community member for the TFC360 I just finished testing. Ah well, not everyone can be the Easter Bunny.

Nice background and computer! Is the 54*C load with HT on?

Here is the awesome background if anyone was looking for it. http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_b...rk_knight.html

    Shazza,
I used to enjoy tweaking all the settings but I found myself spending more time tweaking than using the PC. The 965 is easy to work with and it takes very little time. At 1.425 CPV-V I hit 4.5 easily today. I have seen where some have taken it to 5.4 on air but I am not Xtreme in that regard. I just like a nice stable OC. I am back down to 4.3 with idle temps of 39C, H20 temp of 27C and an ambient room temp of 25C. The GPU's idle at 35-36C with the factory setting of 720mhz. This is a hard system to stress.
Thanks for "forcing" me to buy the 285's!

Thanks John! I will push it this weekend but foe now I am just enjoying it. I did a little WWI flying today in OFF3 with all of the eye candy on and I was stunned! This thing is a beast.

    Skinnee,
As noted below, I got that WP from another site. We have great cameras but I have no idea how to use them. My wife is the photo guru.
BTW, I took the chipset cooler out. I am cooling the two 285's and the i7 only. I am impressed with this Feser! I failed to mention that I am running the fans at 50% and I have no idea if these are good temps.
I do hope you can get your hands on one. I would love to see you put this animal to the test.

Yes, I have HT enabled. BTW, Interfacelift has some outstanding WP, especially in 25x16.
I almost forgot...my load temps are roughly 8-10C higher on the i7 when I turn the torch on. The 285's bump up about to a max of 46 & 44. I am really looking forward to OC'ing those pups!

Wow, those are crazy low temps for an i7 with HT. Nice job!

Rocky ... I'm loving the news on your temps, especially with fans at 50%

Also ... didn't forget about the request for 2560 WP ... here's the linky. Same drill as last time ... go to the second pic, highlight "O" for original, and save the image.

Rocky, I know you didn't take it but my wife and I went on our first date to "The Peak" at the top of Victoria Peak, probably right where that picture was taken. Neat!

That one made me laugh. And yes - my husband gets a kick out of my interest in computers. He's an uber geek - more than both of us put together!

That's cool, headala. One of the nice things to come out of allowing these work logs to go a bit off topic.

i really like the blue sleeving and it gave me an idea...
what if you used red sleeving just part of the way on top of the black sleeving to make the murdermod logo
you know the blood drip thing on the front
i just think that would be soooo sweet

This thread is over a year old . Though it's a pretty awesome build ^^.
