    Core i7 920 S-spec Code
    -----------------------
    C0 - SLBCH
    D0 - SLBEJ
    -----------------------
    The SLBxx code is on the box and on top of the CPU usually.

    hey criminal try if the voltage settings that you can see in the eleet tool if they work for you, im sure you can get that thing past 222. you cant see it from that pic but the pcie frequency was 112 on that run
    lol no need to say anything about the time its pretty bad since its totally untweaked and i was just testing how high i can take the cpu and board

    you can use a bit more vcore on D0 than C0 ,room temp @ 21c and 1,55v-1,6v on air is not a problem for D0

    great clock man ,congrats

    thanks for the advice but the max PCIEx is 102MHz :S
    but Biostar has some good options on Bios and i believe a well tweaked Tpower can reach a bit more bclock than only 222.
    I was talking with Pt1t and we sharing informations about the bclock on Biostar, i think we can show some improvement on bclock very soon

    oohh goody fingers crossed that next run will be better and of course if it seems that the clocks wont go any higher on the board you can always buy another one

    Hi PcCI2iminal,

    That looks like a newer bios than the one on the chinese website dated 10th Feb 2009. Any idea what it fixes or is it just a cpu update for the D0 stepping.

    My Week 3838B080 i7 920 (co/c1) have done a quick (1hour stable) prime 95 run with 20x200 (4Ghz) @ 1.4v, ram set at 9-9-9-24 @ 1600mhz, will try retest tommorow @ 8-8-8-24.

    Cannot get the ram to run at 7-7-7-24 when clocked over 3Ghz, just wondering whether its a bios issue or the memory controller cant handle it, pity I don't have another branded board to prove it.

    The retail package shipped 3/2 which is a week ago--anyone know where to pick one of these units up? Synnex distribution in Freemont has 419 pieces, real time stock per Intel but I don't buy at that distribution level. PM me if anyone knows a source I need a unit or a few units for testing-thanks

    Se still dont know for sure if the retail D0's will do much better then the C0. Dont get your hopes up to high yet

    But if they do i will also swap my C0 for a D0.

    Its not that much of a problem, since I inteded to go for 200mhz bclck anyway.

    hello,the bios still beta and its not only a update for the D0 it will bring to us some new features and XMS support

    ouch !
    i have no issues running DDR3 at 1800MHz CAS7 ,of course it needs 1.9v and its not prime stable
    but you can try 180bclock ,vdimm @ 1.65v or a bit more ,vtt @ minimum and vnb @ auto ,pciex @ 100MHz and just set the timings,start at 2:6 and than 2:8, i think it will work for you

    That highlighted Voltage, Ive no QPI PLL option although Im wondering that it might be for me;

    Ive IOH Core (stock 1.1V), IOH VCCA (1.108V), IOH VCCA (1.506V) and ICH (1.506V)... So... which one would be QPI PLL, if any

    I'm surprised no one asked about clock for clock benches between D0 and C0. The C2D E0's L2 cache latency was increased to allow higher clocks. I wonder if Intel did the same thing again with the i7 D0.

    Supposedly on March 2nd but don't know which retailer carries them, we will have to wait and see, tankguys have them but their prices are somewhat higher than the retail although they guarantee you a D0.

    holy moly 1.38V QPI PPL Voltage

    On my GA X58 Extreme the stock voltage is 1.1V (im running with 1.18V )

    @Rammsteiner
    I think your QPI PPL voltage is the IOH VCCA with (1.108V), but check in the bloodrage thread to be sure.

    fyi, 22 only works when 1 core is active, and there were/are problems with this.
    from what i know the bios vendors ami and award both had problems implementing the c states and turbo+2 properly...
    it seems to work on all boards if you disable 3 cores in bios.
    its tarting to work with all cores enabled now, but not in vista since vista moves threads from one core to the next all the time, which prevents turbo+2 from working properly

    according to intel all cores run the same multi, so if only one core is active all cores run with a 22 multi, but as soon as you load them they all drop to 21. in the end it doesnt matter tho, either way we can only use 22 with 1 core...
