Its a "Alphacool LCD-Display 240x128 Pixel Blue neg (Balck Frame) for 5.25inch Bay" I think from looking at the pictures im sure Zeus will confirm this later

But I'm certain that is what it is.

If it is Zeus can you do a picture of the back of it, if possible. I would like to know what the connectors are.

It can display all sorts of things but the main purpose is to monitor my temps and voltages.

It only has an usb-b connector on the back.
It comes with a normal usb cable but i modded (and sleeved off course) a usb cable so that i could connect it internally at the usb headers on the motherboard.

Its a shame that usb plug come out towards the case, I think it would be much better pointing down or up.

Much more convenient in my opinion, but still an awesome display.

Yeah, or even sideways. Fortunately i don't need the space behind the display and if needed i could easily mount a hdd vertically behind it.

The display is fun, i had it display some logo's and it looked great but the programs that should be supported by the alphcool sofware aren't my favorite to say the least. MBM5 , Asus Probe II (couldn't get that one to work) Everest Ultimate v3.50 and Speedfan (couldn't get that one to work either) It also supports RivaTuner which is nice.

I'm gonna have to spend some more time with the software to get it running the way i want it though.

Ahh ok sounds good how do you get it to display items ? is it simple ? i was looking at getting one from my build but that USB connection turned me against the idea loool.

I like the idea of re-wiring to go in the USB mobo header is an awesome idea

if youve switched the PSU in the V2000 case, then surely the PSU is at the top of the compartment, and sits above the radiators? im doing this and have room for two 120.4's if i had the money for them...

Yea it can do all of thoes things and more:
The Software enables it to display System information,
like Temperature or Memory use, and also the possibilitiy to show graphics.
With the help of the software you can display external data (i.e) Winamp or Mainboard-Monitor results.
    The possibilities are endless!
    Example for use:

    Displaying system temps, CPU, CPU-load,
Networking Stats, Memory use, Winamp Titles,
    News-Feeds (i.e. BBC-World), Game Stats,
    Email details,... etc,etc.

No problem for a wallpaper bro.

The extender is just a G3/8-G1/4 adapter as the Thermochills are using G3/8 thread, that' s all.

Yes that's the main purpose for me really. As said, it can display MBM5, speedfan, Evereste Ultimate v3.50 and Asus Probe II among other things, so there's plenty of options to make it a temp/fanspeed display.

Not sure about your question but i think you mean the rubber moulding.

Dont know where you're from Petra's has 'm:

    http://www.petrastechshop.com/neruedtrmo.html

This is a bit thick but nice stuff.

I used the one from Highflow.nl:

    http://www.highflow.nl/modding/panel...-trim-1m-.html

That one is smaller and a bit more subtile, both do a fine job though.

    Hi Zeus,

if you take a look at http://geizhals.at/eu/?sb=4417, you will see that this company has a bad reputation for handling warranty requests. Maybe to send them mails twice a day would speed up the process a little bit ...

But do yourself a favor and check this reputation list first, before you place another order. I can recommend K&M, like Nils already did. We have a local shop here in Nuremberg, where I always buy my hardware and never had problems with RMA requests.

Your worklog is very interesting and I'm really curious how a finished MurderMod with a normal ATX board (not inverted) will look like. In my opinion it is harder to run all the tubing in a non inverted ATX environment.

Thanks man. I wish i had checked their reputation before i ordered but it's too late for that now.
Yesterday i got a reply from them saying i should contact Silverstone Netherlands and do rma via them.
What good of an advice is that as there doesn't even exsist a department of Silverstone in the Netherlands, there's just Silverstone Europe, situated in Germany-- of all places, lol!

I already contacted them but they could not help me, they're not doing rma for things like PSU's they say.

K&M is ok but they don't sell Silverstone PSU's unfortunately.

Just wish me luck with that lazy reseller.

Ok, that is a problem, I didn't check this before.

But I can also recommend Alternate, a lot of my friends and colleagues are ordering there and they have also a shop in the Netherlands http://www.alternate.nl!

Why did'nt you order from them?

Hey Al, i think this is the best placement for the LEDs. I tried different placements but this came out best.

Decided to give the PSU one more try before wrapping her up and send her right back.

After some strange noise she came alive..the fan spun up but it kept making ticking/clicking sounds. I stopped the fan to see if it was the fan making this sound but it wasn't.

Then i decided to measure on the molex once again, 5V was indeed 5V, joy!
    12v...21.4V!!

I'm so glad i did not connect my system to it.

I finally got green light to send it back, let's hope the new one will be here soon.

Zeus, i really have to say you have a very interesting worklog....very nice setup...

And i have to thank you about mentioning the Hiflow.nl webshop...I was not aware of it, while I recently searched for a EU shop to have Bitspower fittings and other stuff not available in my country.....It has great stuff and i was just informed that it ships to Greece...

    Thanx...Keep up with your work...
