Project Lain V2000B - Nameless---Update: July 23rd
hi, if your reading this then your probably interested in what I'm doing, so ill start from the beginning
I was first interested in the idea of watercooling a computer about 2 years ago, but had never got the time, money or experience to do it. but after my brother got his bits, made his computer and watercooled it i decided it was my time to give it a go, so i came to this forum and found an incredible wealth of knowledge and alot of people who are very willing to help a first timer with his build.
I decided in september last year to order new parts for my computer, so i got a Q6600, Abit ip 35 pro, and my beloved HD 4870x2. this was my first ever computer build that id put together myself (with no other help) and it went together smoothly. Over xmas i made up my mind to get the stuff to take my computer to the next stage, and enter it into the realm of watercooling.
My favourite component, its powerful and beautiful

The Q6600 with a simply amazing heatsink, at current its running stable at 3.4 ghtz!

the cables where all hidden and clean, but i cut them out so i could test new and old components

My case was salvaged from my brothers room, an old dusty V2000B that had been sitting there for a few months i had been looking at buying a TJ07, but decided against it because everyone does that case, and i wanted a little bit of a challenge in fitting everything in.
see what i mean by dusty

He had taken anything that he wanted for his new build and left it in:

With much help from people on this forum i finally got around to ordering my fans and radiators last week monday (6th jan) i orderd two Thermochill PA 120.3 radiators and 10 Medium speed yate loons, for reasons out of my control i was unable to get the yate loons (a recall of fault fans) So the kind guys at www.Watercooled-pcs.co.uk quickly contacted me and told me the situation and so recommended that i get XLF-F1253's, i accepted the replacement and quickly received my replacement fans, and a little case modding kit free of charge for the disruption and problems. Thankyou very much watercooling-pcs.co.uk!!

Although these fans perhaps arent as good as the yate loons, you gotta admit they do look pretty awesome!

And my free gift

I soon got to work attatching my fans to my radiators and sleeving the wires, once again with help from stickies on this forum i was soon pulling wires out, sleeving them and connecting everything up.
The key tools

The essential paperclips
