    Update!

Got some good news and some bad news.

Got the PSU in today and what a handsome bastard it is.

The only downside is that it was DOA! It makes a strange clicking sound, the psu fan doesn't even start and it supplies only 9V for 12V and 3.25V for 5V. RMA time and it does postpone my build even more.

I started leaktesting the bottompart before closing things up and it was all watertight!

Orb watchers sit tight, here's two thermochills in SLI!

    crowded house

    Shiny huh?

Gonna put the fans on the rads now and stick the rads to the boxes.

    Thanks for watching.

Wow - impressive Radiator-Setup! Looks very good and technically well executed! The lower section is already close to perfection from design-perspective (well sleeved too!). Sry for your PSU though.

just to clarify, you are running the water through the 2fan then the 3-fan correct?

Thanks, it means a lot coming from you. The PSU is a real bummer, to make matters worse, i bought it in Germany so i'm gonna have to send it back to Germany too. Bad luck is my middle name you know.

Thanks Snipe. Actually it runs from the pump into the PA120.3 and through the SLI connection into the PA120.2.

you should reverse it to achieve the highest air-water delta at each point in the radiators, here's a diagram to explain why. (let me know if you need any clarification)

Sorry Bout your PSU mate, I'm loving the build going to follow it to the end.

This is tracking back a bit but, How did you drill the 24pin and 8pin power supply holes in the motherboard tray ? some advice doing it would be very useful as I'm fed up of seeing them hanging there lo.

If your setting up the radiators with 6 fans, where should they go?? either side? all 6 in the middle of the radaitors??? or 3 in the middle and 3 on the outside?

I would do 3 in pull and 3 in the middle in a 6 fan config IIRC putting fans directly next to each other isn't really a good idea unless they are counter rotating.

i didnt think sandwiching fans was a good idea... its a real shame that most cases dont have the room for a decent thick radiator like the thermochills or feser with room for 3 rows of fans........how effective is it if you have fans either side of the rad's??

My system works great with just one set of 3 sanaces in the middle and 25mm spacer housings on the push side of the fan. I dont think you need as many fans as you are thinking of using

if you see in my worklog my load temps are sub 50C with my proc running 1.408v @ 4230mhz

I just drilled holes with a stepped drill and used a dremel to cut out the metal in between the holes.

Is there anyway to do it while the tray is still in case ?

Well, that would make it very hard. I wouldn´t recommend as the shavings will end up all over your precious hardware--not good.

    Very nice looking.

I love the dual rad setup, for a moment it looked liked the fans wouldn't fit at all

    Pity about the PSU

I usually order from http://www.kmelektronik.de/ and they've been great to me.
