Hi there dear watercoolers and crazyheads !

Like I've been showing in the wc-ed case gallery, there is my V1000b II Plus, I've been able to buy this case about 8 months ago, it stood in a corner just like that, but in my brains, the ideas were showing up, one by one ...
The good thing about is that I've got the windowpanel and the non windowpannel.

This is gonna be my spare/lan/allround/everything rig, but actually my 2nd pc, al the hardware from the stacker build moved to here, plans are dual loops, with 2 colors of funky or well passing tubing colors .

I want to make it a tight pc, nice looking, bit of bling (BP love !).

Reason why I bought this was by coolfris' rebuild of his V1000, I want to make it all internal except the XSPC RX120 witch will be on the back.
Also, I don't want to screw this case, 'cause I'm havin' a sympathy for it.

Ow jeah, 'ffcourse I've got picca's from the fresh case!

There's more, I've been really thinkin' and searchin' for ideas for about a week, and to work on it, most of the drilling work and jigsawin' and filin' is done.

Than offcourse you always has to start with some mockups of the watercooling gear

That's the start, updates will follow very smoothly, 'caus it's almost finished, I just wasn't in the mood to translate the whole log in to english.

BTW, I also started allready with my V2000 build, so day 'n nite disappeared into a box (never gonna throw it away though, it carry's a lot of evolution, thinkering, first watercooling experience etc ...).

Update 2 - 15th of October 2009 - Dubbin/smoothin'

Ahoi me pirates !

I'm brining an update with some fun stuff, the only sad thing about it is that I've token a lot of pictures but the memory card was'n in the camera, although I've made it to some pictures after I realized ...

I've been doin' more filing, tried some options with the placement of everything and came to a very nice and tight solution !

First off, I've got the same case for my old build and I love it - I'm still in love with it - I can't bear to part with it for my TJ-07.

What I did was hang a 120.3 "thin" rad in the top. This had the unfortunate effect of covering a PCI slot as well as the headers for the power button, etc. I had to make some extensions for that so I could plug things in. But I'll digress.

I wish I found this log BEFORE you cut your case up. I had recently come across a great design for this case in another thread and I think it would have worked excellently for you without having anything stick out/hang off of your case.



Move the PA120.2 towards the front of the case (green arrow) by trimming the front intake fan's support (green bracket). You can put another 120.1 rad on the other side of the basement (see the red corner outline sticking out). You could most likely squeeze in your two MCP30x pumps down in the basement under the yellow arrow - all while keeping the PSU from hanging out (as long as it's not those super long 1000W monstrosities). This would leave all your drive bays open to host HD/DVD Drives. Even if you needed to you could move one of the pumps to the bottom most 5.25" drive bays and still have plenty of room for devices.

I'm thinking of maybe using this on my next build Or, you could hang a nice big PA120.3 from the roof and use a miniATX mobo and not have any collisions.

You can always replace your midplate as well. I made a new one for my case as I didn't like the large unused cable routing hole....

the idea of antioch is really nice, but this one knew allready some diffirent phases ...

@the status: now it's possible to have 6 hdd's into it and dual loops wc, with just the rx120 on the back (I don't mind, it's actually pretty cool, to feel the hot air coming out

Update 19th of September 2009 - Hangin' Tree (or radiator)

Hi, that day I've done some small things, mocked up the PA120.2 into the case, in the cellar I'll be using an extra shroud, upper room w/ o/ a shroud...

XSPC RX 120 on the back will be replaced with a PA120.1, ...

Update from the 2nd of oktober 2009 – Night

Here we are again, this was a nigh-update, and that just simply has to be possible, my biorythm was messed up due to if I remember it right a very good party :coke:.
But here we go further, almost all of the brute modifications are done ...
Verder ga ik morgen nog een mesh houder fabriceren, waarmee ik de 2 multiresjes mee kan ophangen.

But after silence there will always come piccas 'cause you deserve it, not yet the jackpot, but a start, for what will come !

Ahoit Pirates, this update have been also a night edition, seems to bee hip and cool etc ...

Had some bad luck to my old 7900gt that day, prolly dead due to a stupid leak ..., so I hooked up a HD4870 512 w/ ek block in !

Hi there, case is in great shape, that deserves an update !

I aint much into the sense of writin' a lot of piratetales and other texty things, you can se a kind of finished phase, but it ain't finished yet !

Update from the 22th of November 2009 - Thermochill in Da House !

Well, here we are again , I've been messing around, soon there's comming a HD3850 in it for some extra power

But hey, back to work !

2. MCR220 = P-OUT, takes to much of space, than I wanted to place an extra RX, but it didn't work, so than an RS120

Update from the 26th of November 2009 - POWAAAAAAH!

Hey boys 'nd girls, today some small hardwareupgrade, it was really necessairy, some HD3850 512 is coming to replace the old 7900GT, so he can go on retirement


HD3850 512MB Ultimate with that nice stock cooling


Ideal for making some wafels while gaming.


Fear the red TIDE !!!
 

2min's later the mcw60-r was on it


Offcouse, no party without bitspower

After getting the 7900gt out, the 3850 found it's way to the pci-e slot and it got runnin'!

Update from the 8th of december 2009 – FUGLY

An update from time, I've been busy last friday, and also next friday I think.
I've ordered blue and yellow tubing and some other small stuff, now the yellow tubing is freakin' ugly, that you even don't want to look at it ...
That's the reason that I've placed a new order to solve this uglynessproblem

Furthermore I've changed the wc setup and there's even coming another surprise.
CPU-loop got my EK supreme CU and some deep blue tubing

Maybe I'm going to replace the E6750 with a Q6600 G0, but I'm not sure of that, this cpu is actually enough for what it has to do, 'cause it ain't crunching

but time for picca's
