    UPDATE! - 14/2/09

Ok, so the other night I wasn't sure on how to mount my fan controller since I want the front drive bays free. I came up with one brilliant idea....too bad it would have taken days of work with the dremel! So I asked my brother (1st class boiler maker/welder) to cut me a piece of steel and hole punch it (to my measurements ofcourse!) Today I drilled the holes in the steel and it looks great! Don't forget it'll be powdercoated etc.... before assembly!

    Murdermod parts = Shipped
PetrasTechShop = Being ordered tomorrow (4-5days for shipping)
Jab-Tech *BIG ORDER* = (Being order in the next week or 2)

MY ghetto marking out for drilling! (after drilling)

    Fitted

    PERFECT MATCH!

The other side of the bracket supports the PSU which means my fan controller will be at the back of my case down the bottom! I can't wait to see how it'll look installed on the case

    Thanks!

Ok guys, a tiny update for you.

    Petras order has been ordered/paid.
    Performance-pcs has been ordered/paid.

Jab-Tech, I'm still winging on which GPU to get, the 4870X2 is going to stretch my budget a bit too far I think, unless I wait 2months. GTX280 won't give me enough performance for the long run (I think) so I'm not sure what to do

I'll have to think about it.

Are you planning to upgrade to i7 in the future? I'm not sure how much difference the CPU makes, but I played Crysis at 1920x1200 all weekend with GTX 260s in SLI and was able to play at Very High settings for everything - no issues. This was with the i7 920 @ 3.4 GHz (all on air). An option to consider is a 260, a 280, or a 285 for now -- adding another down the road if necessary. (Did you sell your 4870?)

I agree with Shazza. If you are going to game in 19x12 get two 260's and you will be very happy.

If a 4870x2 or 2 260s is outside your budget, maybe a 4850x2 would be a good choice?

    Yeah I sold it.

    Well, i think I may go for a 4870X2...why?
    GTX260 x 2 = $650AUD + 2xEK waterblocks = $350 = $1050.
    GTX285 = $580 + EK block = $150 = $730
    4870x2 (Second hand) $550 + EK = $200 = $750

I think I may just have to raise some quick cash some how.

Updates will arrive soon my friendS!

    Update 20/2/09

Sorry for the long delay people!

MurderMod gear should be here within the next few days, Petras order will also be here in the next few days. My PowerColor Radeon HD4870 X2 has been paid for, it should also be here some time soon. My Performance PC's order will be here in a week or even in 3 weeks! I ordered black molex connectors and wasn't paying $30USD for EXPRESS postage for some small connectors! Hence I went the cheaper $12 option. I promise guys, MOAR picture updates will be coming! Sorry for the wait all!

    Please excuse the n00bi pictures!

All your builds look nice. and I'm sure this one will also. So what are those 4 or 5 HD looking things in that 3rd picture?

I only wish I could build the way you guys do.. Keep up the good work, I'll be sure to check back on this thread.

oh I see, and that is so you can fit the Feser 360 down in the bottom of course.. right?

Nice. So far I'm liking my feser 360. My build it right below this one. I just updated the pics. Now the feser rad looks like it was meant to be there. but it's huge.

Anyways, keep up the good work.. I'm leak testing and will put my new system together tomorrow.
