Well, I updated to 9.1 Cat's yesterday and decided to try this again. Seems now that 840 core is stable for me in FEAR with 1.3125v. Before I'd get tons of VPU crashes for no reason within seconds, while it worked fine in Furmark for extended periods of time.
Now that this is working like it should for me, I'm curious. How high should I safely be able to take the volts on this with just a stock cooler? Anyone have a rough value?
Also, for jarman; For me 15 is the idle voltage, 17 is the 3dload voltage, and 18 is the voltage it uses for 3dload after a VPU crash. Adjust accordingly.
