I started with the BIOS settings found at this link:
http://i4memory.com/f80/dfi-lp-ut-x5...emplate-12919/
The following are some changes and my voltage setting.
These setting work up to a BCLK of 172 but using 173 causes the system to shutdown and then will not boot until I do a Reset/Power Off to reset the CMOS.------------------
Genie BIOS Setting
CPU VID Control: 1.375v
Vcore Droop Control: Enabled
DRAM Bus Voltage: 1.695v
CPU VTT Voltage: 1.39v
CPU PLL Voltage: 1.80v
IOH/ICH 1.1V Voltage: 1.11v
IOH Analog Voltage: 1.10v
ICH 1.5 Voltage: 1.5v
ICH 1.05V Voltage: 1.05v
Turbo Mode Function: Disabled
CPU Non-Turbo Clock Ratio: 20x
* BCLK/UCLK/QPI Controller Settings *
QPI Frequency: 4.8GT/s
CPU Base Clock (BCLK): 172 Mhz
DRAM Frequency: 1376Mhz = 8x DRAM multiplier
UnCore Frequency: 2752 = 2x DRAM Frequency
A BCLK of 172 will work with a lower vcore setting but I've gone up to 1.45v with 173. I was using a lower DRAM and VTT voltage for 172 and raised it to the above values for 173 but that didn't help. I'm just about ready to give up on this i7 920 and try something else. Any suggestions before I throw in the towel?
