Actually the answer is somewhere between the two.
This is my (UN)Designs themed build and as such I want to use my brackets,
however the reason I made the Z-Bracket was to make mounting a bracket
over a fan easier and also give more mounting options.
In my case I obviously have more room than I know what to do with.
The pump however will still benefit from the airflow going directly over it.
Also I plan to mount two reservoirs directly over the pumps in the upper fan holes.
By placing the pumps directly underneath the res the tubing will have a logical flow.
So yes I could just put them on the floor but I want the benefit of airflow over my pumps too.
