Wow great info in this thread! well it's time to retire the old Phenom and try and run with the big boys, so I'm going to throw down some cheeze for a new system this week and I'd really appreciate any input you guys can give me , this is what i was thinking of getting:

silverstone TJ10 case, Ikonik Vulcan 1000 watt, Striker II Extreme, Q9650, G.SKILL GT1 4GB DDR3 PC3 16000, Swiftech Apogee GTZ waterblock, MCP350 pump, 12" rad

2 questions on this, should need the waterblock the chipset and gpu's? and were should i go to get the Yorkfield, a good one (what stepping)?
