Anyways, I tried what you suggested clark and downclocked my RAM to 1333mhz and 6-6-6-12 timings and so far so good.. I've tried this before but with 7-6-6-24 timings. My system was pretty stable but then one time my computer reboot. I didn't try much testing at 1333mhz though. I think that's horrible to have to downclock memory because this board can't handle 1600mhz ram when you have a powerful video card... I see this motherboard differently now. I'm probably staying away from Intel from now on. Shouldn't have to downclock on something when you upgrade a video card. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed in a BIOS update but I doubt it. Intel probably won't release another BIOS for this mobo.
To summarize also, I could pass memtest86+ and prime95 at 1600MHz just fine. But when entering games, BAM, reboot. Only clocking down to 1333MHz solved the problem. There's something funny going on between this board, 1600MHz DDR3 (I have Corsair 2 x 2GB), and 4870X2s. I also have a QX9770, so my 1600MHz FSB was not overclocked.
