I'm glad to hear you had a problem just like mine. Installing the 8.6's didn't help any. In fact, Windows keeps telling me that there is no ATI card detected when I install those drivers. Tried it twice. I even used Driver Cleaner Pro in safe mode to remove them.

I think there's something wrong with this board at the 4800 cards in general.

My computer froze about 30 minutes into Crysis Warhead when ram was at 1333mhz though.... Maybe I don't have the right timings/voltages figured yet but this sucks.
