Hello everyone, I'm having a very annoying problem and I'm not sure if it's the RAM or mobo.. Whenever I play a 3d game, my computer will freeze or just reboot within 10-15 minutes. I PM'ed MrBungle a few days ago because I couldn't post in the forums and he suggested to either underclock the fsb a little or up the voltages on the fsb and nb. Unfortunately, those suggestions did not work. I didn't want to underclock the fsb.. It's a small oc.... HardOCP couldn't really help and the OCZ techs in the forums helped stabilize gaming to ~40 minutes to maybe an hour before it freezes and reboots again... So I'm asking here hoping someone will be my PC GOD and help me figure out what's going on here. I'm not sure if something is going bad or what. Plz help

I recently upgraded my video cards from duel radeon 3870's to duel radoen 4870's. On my 3870's, I overclocked my E8500 cpu to 3.8GHz and 9.5 multiplier. That gives me a 400fsb running at 1600mhz. This is my first real experience OCing and it took me awhile, but I got it 100% stable. Prime95 ran for ~20 hours before I stopped it. Never had problems gaming. My mobo is the DX48BT2 with 1814 BIOS, ram is 2x2gb OCZ DDR3-1600 and they're in the black slots running duel channeled, psu is an Enermax Galaxy 1000w.

Last night, I ran Prime95 blend test for 13 hours, 14 minutes and got NO errors. I opened a game, and my pc reboot within 10 minutes...

Current timings:

vcore: 1.325v
fsb: 1.25v
mch: 1.35v
7-6-6-24 @ 1.9v are my RAM's factory settings @ 1600mhz. I've tried 7-7-7-24, 8-7-7-24, 8-8-8-24, etc. and nothing seems to keep it stable while gaming... 8-7-7-24 keeps it stable much longer though but it'll still end up freezing/rebooting. I've tried downclocking my RAM to 1333mhz @ 1.86v which I THOUGHT was stable but playing a game for about an hour froze my pc...

I'm not sure if this is even a mobo/ram issue... It almost seems like and heating/power issue but my pc runs fine when everything is @ stock settings... Thing is, stock clocks my RAM at like 1111mhz with 1.54v which is ridiculous but it works. Prime95 is stable but PC gaming is not. Could my Enermax 1000w psu not be supplying enough power to the cards? Or maybe my card(s) are overheating but I am using the fan mod.
