I thought they told me that you needed both rings? Can't find the e-mail where they said it so not 100%. And I'd use teflon tape, I used some of that grease in my bathroom and it leaked like hell. Fitting with some tape wedged in between is better, more sturdy imo.

    @ neo_rtr

Ok, I have the same mips set for a maximus formula and
I need to use the Distance Rings that MIPS supplied
Do I have to keep the O-ring it comes on the barb too???
Or just the Distance Ring that MIPS supplied???
And the other is about silicone grease
Does someone have give it a try???
    Can I use this???
    Better than Teflon tape???
    Thanks for help
Hi sorry for the late reply was traveling.
Well yes you have to use the rings they come with. If not will not fit. there is a gap .
Cant answer the other questions. never try it..

    Upgrades !!

Hi all. long time no seen,,

I am thinking of upgrades.. ´What i have in mind is the following

To get The Feser Company (TFC) Shrouds
    for example
    http://www.frozencpu.com/products/77..._Blue_LED.html

was looking this site as well

    http://www.tfc-xchanger.com/forum/vi...c.php?f=8&t=37
(sorry guys for the link i needed to borrow the picture)

then get some Fans with Blue leds and build it in a Push Pull configuration

Now my Thermochill PA 120.3 is mouned under the chassi.
Iam thinking the following from bottom up.
120 Fan with blue led. "push"-> (TFC) Shroud ->PA 120.3 -> Noctua fan "pull"

This will bring the hot air into the case. On the other hand the side panel of the Stacker 382 has 4 fans and i will turn them to pull config, to get the air out. The front of the stacker has 3 fans to take the air into the case. plus i have a fun duck tunnel with 2 fans .. (lots of fans)

lookig over at this article as well
    http://www.martinsliquidlab.com/Radi...ng-Review.html

This time around would like to get some more light into the side of the case as well.

    Any ideas?`

Interesting, though know you'll be paying through the nose for transparent acrylic and a TFC logo, it's much cheaper to buy some cheap fans/recycle some old ones by gutting the inside (ripping out the blades + motor) and just using the skeleton as a shroud .

I have to fix the cabling and better mount that fan that sucks the heat out of the case.

GeForce 8800 Series Clock Rates Table...

GeForce 8800 Series Clock Rates Table...
    - Core : 576MHz - Shader : 1350MHz - Memory : 1800MHz
    - Core : 594MHz - Shader : 1404MHz - Memory : 1836MHz
    - Core : 612MHz - Shader : 1458MHz - Memory : 1872MHz
    - Core : 621MHz - Shader : 1512MHz - Memory : 1890MHz
    - Core : 648MHz - Shader : 1566MHz - Memory : 1944MHz
    - Core : 675MHz - Shader : 1620MHz - Memory : 1998MHz

    *Original settings
    8800 GTX Water Cooled OC
    - Core : 650MHz - Shader : 1500MHz - Memory : 2000MHz
    8800 GTX OC
    - Core : 600MHz - Shader : 1400MHz - Memory : 1800MHz
    8800 GTX OC2
    - Core : 626MHz - Shader : 1450MHz - Memory : 2000MHz

I believe the next step will be to OC the already overclocked 8800 GTX OC card from the original settings of 8800 GTX OC
    - Core : 600MHz - Shader : 1400MHz - Memory : 1800MHz
    to something better.
Google shows the way to go http://www.mvktech.net
and will see where i will end up.
In the mean time i am having hard time to find OC settings for this card so if you have any link pls let me know.
Iam interesting in getting an idea about the Core : - Shader : - Memory : as well as Voltage settings

    Upgrades

After a year i it was time to change the water
I also thought it was a good idea to change tubbing and some of the fittings

Feser Tube 3/8" ID - 1/2" OD - UV Blue was my favorite
In practice i find it very soft and it bends lite nothing else i have seen before-
    will not use it again
my favorite is 3/8" ID Tubing with 1/8" Wall thickness (5/8" OD)

    I tought that
    Feser 1/4" BSPP - 3/8" ID - 1/2" OD 45 Degree Rotary Compression
Feser 1/4" BSPP High Flow 3/8" ID - 1/2" OD Compression Fitting

    will be great.
In practice i could not fit them on my MIPS blocks (South-North).
Could not put them om my D-Tek fusion block either

I did some but not what i wanted.

    Any way.. here it comes
