LardArse my temp on the bios are between 39 and 42 celcius idle at 400x10 when it is able to boot into windows. Ageia panel says temp at 36 celcius. NB temp are 49-51 celcius in the bios BUT Ageia panel says 41-43 celcius. I am water cooling my cpu but NB is using the standard air cooler that came with the mobo.

do you still get those weird differences in temp and voltage readings with the latest BIOS?
this sounds very odd... ive never seen any differences in bios and aegis panel values for temps and voltages

This board seems to like 1GB sticks alot more.

I must also confess that I went over to the dark side today and am going to give 790i and SLI a whirl. (although I still have my Blackops. )

This is somewhat unrelated. Where do yo go to register your MB information? I made a profile at Quantum Force but the website hangs indefinitely if I try to register my motherboard.

pc does post and goes in to windows fine, but it has corrupted my raid 1
intel storage manager in windows is repairing at the moment so i will have to wait to try any benchmarking

never ever oc when running raid... never...
oc first, find a stable setting, and then run raid...

all on auto except control dll, command dll and clock dll at -2

hmmm and that helps compared to leaving the dlls at auto?
if you move them all it shouldnt make a difference... id think?

MotF Bane, the NIC driver hangs during installation or the system hangs/freezes? it sounds like your board is either damaged or your running highly unstable speeds/settings.

LOL So far I tried the FOX live update and it says it went thru, after rebooting still says G26. I remember I did a BIOS FLASH with my thumb drive can not remember how I did it.

sounds like you flashed to one bios chip and boot from another one?
